SFT 27 Live Results – Two vacant titles up for grabs

SFT 27 goes down on Friday, July 16th at 7 PM EST. This mixed martial arts event transpires in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The latest offering from Standout Fighting Tournament broadcasts on FITE TV and boasts two vacant title bouts.

In the main event, the vacant SFT lightweight championship will be hoisted overhead by the winner of Manoel Sousa vs Brendo Bispo.

Sousa sports a 6-0 pro MMA record heading into this contest. The entirety of his mixed martial arts career has taken place under the SFT banner and Sousa now has a chance to mint himself as a champion within the organization.

Bispo boasts a 17-4 record and like Sousa, has gone unbeaten across his last six fights. Brendo Bispo’s last SFT bout ended in a first-round guillotine and he looks to further impress under the promotional banner here in this title bid.

In the night’s co-feature, the vacant SFT flyweight championship will be wrapped around the waist of the victor for Mayra Cantuária vs Patricia Borges.

Cantuária is a Pancrase and SFT veteran who has amassed a five-fight winning streak prior to this flyweight title effort.

Borges is a Jungle Fight and SFT vet who enters this championship bout on the heels of back-to-back victories. These wins came at SFT 11 and SFT 18 respectively.
