Sijara Eubanks discusses her UFC 253 fight with Ketlen Vieira

Sijara Eubanks defeated Julia Avila just 10 days ago at UFC Vegas 10. Now she’s putting in the final stages of an extremely short fight camp as she fights this weekend at UFC 253.
Standing across the octagon from Eubanks will be Ketlen Vieira. Both ladies come into the fight ranked in the top 15 in the women’s bantamweight division. Vieira (10-1) is currently ranked No. 7 in the world according to the official UFC rankings. Meanwhile, Eubanks (7-4) currently sit’s at No. 13.

In an interview with MyMMANews, Eubanks discussed her upcoming fight and why she chose to pull off a “gangster move” and take the short notice fight against Vieira. She also talked about her relationship with her coach Mark Henry, who will not be with her this weekend on Fight Island. You can see the full interview in the video above.

The Vieira and Eubanks fight will be on the main card of UFC 253 this weekend which means the fight will be on pay per view. UFC 253 is headlined by a middleweight title fight between Israel Adesanya and Paulo Costa. Dominick Reyes and Jan Blachowicz will meet in the co-main event with the two fighting for the vacant light heavyweight championship.
