Sports betting continues to rise after massive year for industry in 2021

Have you ever looked back at a sporting event and wished you had wagered money on the outcome? The sports betting industry continues to rise and with more and more states legally allowing these transactions, now is the time to get in on the action.

“The launch of legal wagering in 11 states and the investment of more than a billion dollars’ worth of marketing by sportsbooks has seriously boosted the number of Americans betting on sports in 2021, according to new Morning Consult research. At year’s end, nearly 1 in 5 U.S. adults said they bet on sports at least once a month.”

Legal sports betting is now available in 30 states and Washington, D.C., with more states expected to join in this year. In New York, legal sports betting officially launched on Jan. 8., and the state immediately received millions of dollars in wagered bets.

According to industry experts, “increases in sports betting across the country are due in part to the huge increase in digital marketing from the country’s biggest sportsbooks.”

A variety of sports are getting involved in the movement and depending what your fancy is, DraftKings could be the perfect platform for you.  Everything from MMA, Soccer, Football, Baseball, Horse Racing, and more. According to the latest Draftkings review by Casinorange.com, “DraftKings has been an established Daily Fantasy Sports company since 2012 however since sports betting became a prominent feature of its provision in 2018, the company has seen an impressive level of growth that has seen it seize a huge share of the market to become the second-largest sports betting provider in the US. As a result, the trust and assurance that accompanies a reputable company at the forefront of such an established industry mean that their platform has to live up to the expectations of new and existing customers.”

This coming weekend the Ultimate Fighting Championship will hold another UFC Fight Night event where many of those who partake in sports betting will lay down money on one or more of the featured contests.
