Stamp Fairtex: “My goal is to win all the belts in my division”
Stamp Fairtex is one of ONE Championship’s biggest stars. She is the Singapore based promotion’s first two-sport world champion, having held the ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Championship and ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Championship.
Fairtex, 24, will face another star in the making, in the returning Angela Lee, for the ONE Championship strawweight title in MMA at ONE: X on March 26.
Initially competing in the all-striking ONE Super Series, Stamp made her promotional mixed martial arts debut on August 16, 2019. She has won the 2021 ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix.
Fairtex recently spoke with MMA reporter Tom Taylor of the South China Morning Post where she said, “My goal is to win all the belts in my division. Next is to win an MMA champion belt with Angela Lee, so I will definitely try my best. That’s my dream and I need to make it come true.”
