Stellar Fights 45 – Brad Dalton entering second decade of promotion

Any fighter or combat sports athlete surely knows the “grind.”  It is a combination of many things…cardio, strength and conditioning, going to class after class, trying to hone your chosen endeavor/skills.  This includes selling tickets, finding sponsors, all piled on top of working a job, taking care of a family.  It’s a lifestyle that will test one’s inner strength.  The same can be said for the mixed martial arts promotion business.  You need a venue, insurance, quality fighters who can sell tickets, a fan base, a DJ, a ring announcer, the list goes on and on.  To survive in this atmosphere and prosper is a huge achievement.

Stellar Fights has fought the grind and is thriving.  Promoter/CEO Brad Dalton will be entering his second decade of hosting MMA events on February 1 in Harrington, Delaware as Stellar Fights 45 leads off his schedule for 2020.  Brad has become a staple in his home state, and he’s done a “stellar” job of providing a forum where mixed martial artists can display their hard work.  It truly says something about a promotion that can survive over ten years and keep building relationships.

Delaware does not have its own sanctioning body and everything is handled by the World Kickboxing Association (WKA).  I see many of the same referees, judges, and officials working his events that I see in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  One of the most enjoyable aspects of Dalton’s cards is variety.  He has the flexibility to mix both professional and amateur bouts in MMA, kickboxing, and grappling, and whichever particular sport may be on tap, it will always be in the Stellar cage.

That cage will be very busy on the 1st as Stellar Fights 45 brings the fans 7 MMA bouts and 4 Glory rules kickboxing contests.  You can check out the entire card below.  MyMMANews will be in the house and bringing you the best live coverage on the planet.  Nobody covers regional combat sports like we do.  Every other site will just tap out!
