Jerald Spohn (5-0-1 AM) talks about signing with Vayner Media for representation. Jerald also spoke about how this opportunity came together when he’s looking to make his professional MMA debut and training with UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic. With a huge roster that includes Miocic, Tony Ferguson, Anthony Smith and others, Spohn explained why Vayner Media decided to sign an amateur fighter like him.
“It actually started with a conversation with Stipe. I’ve been following Gary Vee for years, I got into him in college. Then when I saw they got into the sports agency space and signed Stipe, I was like ‘Holy crap I have to find a way to get in there.’ We were just having a conversation in the locker room and he was telling me about it. I was kind of explaining to him how it would kind of be like a dream of mine to get to work with them. A few days later we exchanged some texts, he hooked me up with Lloyd Pearson and we were off.”
