T.J. Laramie vs. Daniel Swain in the works for DWCS on Aug. 11

A featherweight bout between T.J. Laramie and Daniel Swain is being targeted for the fourth season of Dana White’s Contender Series.

The two will compete on the second episode inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada on Aug. 11. MMA Junkie was the first to report the matchup.

Canada’s own Laramie is unbeaten in three consecutive bouts. The 22-year-old is coming off a unanimous decision win against Andrew Cruz at PFC 12 this past December.

Laramie is 11-3 and holds a decision win over current UFC featherweight, Charles Jourdain.

Swain has two times the amount of professional bouts than Laramie with a 20-9-1 record. Swain is currently on a two-fight win streak, most recently beating Xiaolong Wu by a guillotine choke in 28 seconds at M-1 Challenge 103 in August 2019.

He won four of his last five bouts.
