Tabatha Ricci discusses her UFC St. Louis fight against Tecia Torres
Tabatha Ricci returns to the octagon at UFC St. Louis as she’ll fight in another highly entertaining matchup against Tecia Torres.
For Ricci, she’ll be fighting for the first time in 2024 and for the first time since she suffered her first loss in the strawweight division as Loopy Godinez edged out Ricci on the judges scorecards in late 2023.
The last time Ricci lost a fight was in her short notice UFC debut at flyweight and following that fight, the Brazilian won her next four fights.
Now after coming off another loss, Ricci is planning on going on another massive winning streak and up next for her on the comeback tour is Torres.
Ricci loves the matchup as she is a big fan of Torres and she refers to her as an “OG of the game.”
Torres is a big fan favorite and she’ll be fighting for the first time since giving birth last year. She’ll also look to add to the success in her household as her wife Raquel Pennington won the UFC bantamweight championship earlier this year.
Prior to UFC St. Louis, Ricci spoke with MyMMANews to discuss her upcoming fight with Torres, her mindset of coming into the fight and recently attending at WWE event with her boyfriend, Irish professional boxer Callum Walsh.
