Taj Rueda talks his Freedom Welterweight world title fight

Full interview with Freedom Fighter Promotions 2x National champion, Taj Rueda above.

Freedom Fighter Promotions has been on a full sprint since their inaugural show in October of 2021. Riding high on momentum, Freedom hasn’t and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down anytime soon.  Closing in on their sixth event, Freedom 6 goes down at the beautiful and historic Grand Roosevelt Ballroom, this Friday, July 1st.

For a promotion that’s been in business for less than a year (9 months to be exact), Freedom has certainly set themselves apart, putting on some of the best matchups within the Muay Thai community. Bringing in fighters from across the globe to compete, Freedom has certainly set a new standard within the art of 8 limbs. Proving they’re a force to be reckon with, like many other promotions that have had skin in the business for years.

Taj Rueda was the first champion to be crowned with a Freedom Fighter Promotion title. Now, after defending his title, Taj continues to increase the level of competition he steps in against.

This Friday, July 1, Rueda will be vying for the Freedom Fighter Promotions world welterweight championship against Mexico’s own, hard hitting, Jose Kaza Saenz.

While this will be the toughest test of Rueda’s prosperous career, the Sitan New York welterweight, Rueda, is riding high with momentum on a win streak and as confident as ever.

Tune in as Freedom Fighter Promotions’, “OGC,” Taj Rueda joins MyMMANews ahead of his Freedom Fighter Promotions welterweight championship bout against Kaza Saenz. He opens up about his passion for combat sports, he discusses what being the Freedom Champion means to him, how he assesses his impending bout and so much more!

Freedom Fighter Promotions will be available, streaming live at www.BXNG.tv.
