Three More Bouts Added to Titan FC 42 on UFC Fight Pass
Pompano Beach, FL. – Titan FC officials have added three additional bouts to Titan FC 42, which will take place on December 2 at The Watsco Center at The University of Miami and air live & exclusively on UFC Fight Pass. Titan FC 42 will be the fourth straight event held at The Watsco Center (formerly known as The Bank United Center) in Coral Gables, FL.
Former Titan FC lightweight champion Gesias “JZ” Cavalcante will make his return to the cage after dropping his title to Freddy Assuncao in the main event of Titan FC 40 in August. The 33-year-old Blackzilian will face Robert Turnquest, who is fresh off of a third round submission win over Taylor Krahl at Titan FC 41in September.
In what promises to be an exciting flyweight bout, Abdiel Velazquez will meet Bruno Mesquita. Velazquez will look to rebound from a 2nd round KO loss to Jose “Shorty” Torres at Titan FC 40 in a co-main event fight that determined the Titan FC interim flyweight champion. Mesquita brings a 6-2 record into the cage with three wins coming by way of submission and one victory via TKO.
Also scheduled to take place at Titan FC 42, will be a women’s flyweight bout pitting Trisha Cicero against Angie Reinhardt. Both Cicero and Reinhardt will be making their professional debuts at Titan FC 42. Cicero was undefeated in four amateur bouts including two victories by way of submission. While Reinhardt was 3-2 in five amateur bouts with two wins by TKO. Tickets can be purchased by going to the Bank United Center Box Office.
