Trevin Giles

Trevin Giles and Jun Yong Park added to UFC’s event on Aug. 1

Middleweights Trevin Giles and Jun Yong Park will meet at UFC’s event on Aug. 1.

Giles took to Instagram to announce the signed bout agreement on Monday, June 15.

Giles is fresh off a “Fight of the Night” bonus, defeating James Krause by split decision at UFC 247 on Feb. 8. Giles re-entered the win column suffering back-to-back defeats to Gerald Meerschaert and Zak Cummings in 2019.

The 27-year-old is 3-2 since making his UFC debut in July 2017.

Park is coming off his first victory inside the octagon, defeating Marc-Andre Barriault at UFC on ESPN+ 23 in December 2019. He is 1-1 under the UFC banner after a second-round submission loss to Anthony Hernandez at UFC on ESPN+15 in August 2019. It ended a seven-fight win streak for Park.

The August card is expected to take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. There is no broadcast information available yet.
