Ty Gwerder full Bellator 250 media day press conference

Ty Gwerder learned a lot from his first professional loss.

After Joseph Creer dominated the wrestling and grappling departments, Gwerder suffered a unanimous decision at Bellator 235 in December 2019. He faces another wrestling-heavy opponent in unbeaten middleweight Dalton Rosta at Bellator 250 this Thursday, Oct. 29.

Gwerder looks hand Rosta his first defeat, at the Mohegun Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

He rebounded from his lone loss with a third-round knockout over George Tokkos at Bellator 246 this past September. Gwerder is a proven striker with all five of his victories coming by knockout/TKO. He earned fur of those finishes within the first round.

Rosta is yet to make it past two rounds in all three of his bouts. Rosta is making a name for his wrestling and ground and pound, earning all three wins  by TKO.

He most recently defeated Mark Gardner by doctor’s stoppage in round one at Bellator 243 this past August.
