Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley Press Conference - LIVE STREAM

Tyron Woodley reveals he’s getting the ‘I love Jake Paul’ tattoo on Saturday

Tyron Woodley will be living up to his word.

Ahead of Woodley’s pro boxing debut against Jake Paul, the two agreed that the loser would get a tattoo. However, after Woodley lost a split decision he made a new deal in the ring that he would get the tattoo if Paul decided to run it back. Since then, there has been no talk of the rematch but Woodley has announced he will be getting the tattoo on Saturday.

“Tommy Fury should have never even been in position for the bag,” Woodley said on Instagram Live with Ariel Helwani (via MMAFighting). “I’m gonna just let the week go through and see what happens. I think the most sensible thing to do is run it back, I think I’m getting this tattoo Saturday, by the way. Yeah, I just feel like I should do it because it’s a solid thing to do. I’m going to do it on Saturday.”

Whether or not Tyron Woodley getting the tattoo will get him the rematch is uncertain. Yet, for “The Chosen One” he says he isn’t sure where he will be getting the tattoo but says he will be getting it this weekend.

“I don’t know yet, I’m gonna think about it,” Woodley said. “Not neck, not face. I should have put it across my f*cking knuckles. To me it’s like this, if a dude wants to pay me to whip his ass, since he supposedly ‘paid me and promoted the fight’, then I love you. (Laughs). Because you’re that dumb.”

As of right now, Paul does not have his next fight booked as he has been calling out Tommy Fury but he says the Brit has turned him down twice. Perhaps, if Woodley does get the tattoo then the rematch might be next for both men later this year or early next.
