UAEW 15’s William Starks: I’m A Better MMA Wrestler Than Abdurakhman Gitinovasov

Interview with William Starks above – Check it out

William Starks (4-1) discusses his lightweight fight against Abdurakhman Gitinovasov (5-1) at UAE Warriors 15 on Jan. 15. William also talks about how he got into MMA, how this opportunity came together fighting in Abu Dhabi, and recently moving back to Missouri. While the lightweight prospect is expecting a tough matchup, Starks believes he’s a better overall fighter when it comes to martial arts.

“I believe I’m just better … period. I think he’s going to be tough. I think he’s a better pure wrestler, but I think I’m a better MMA wrestler. I think I’m a far superior striker and a far superior athlete. I believe my fight IQ is far too high and I’ll make adjustments on the fly. I’ll turn myself into a fighter than he can’t beat, round by round, minute by minute.”
