UFC 190 Results – Rousey KOs Correia in seconds

UFC 190 took place at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and was headlined by two undefeated bantamweight mixed martial artists in Ronda Rousey and Bethe Correia.  It didn’t take long….. once again.  Only 34 seconds.

Rousey, the longtime women’s champ said that this fight against Correia was personal as the Brazilian has defeated two of her training partners before making disparaging remarks about “suicide.”  Rousey’s father took his own life after struggling with an injury while she was still a child.

Also on the card, Brazilian MMA legends the Nogueira brothers each had a fight on the night.  The smaller Antonio Rogerio Nogueira had a rematch from the days of Pride Fighting Championships against Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua, although it did not not go his way once again. ‘Big Nog’ danced with the tallest fighter on the UFC roster, Stefan Struve, and he too fell short of a victory.
