UFC 199 headlined by Rockhold-Weidman 2, Cruz-Faber 3 co-main

ufc 199

This afternoon during the UFC Unstoppable press conference several upcoming fight cards were announced, none bigger however than UFC 199 where two rivalries will be settled.

First, the co-main event of defending UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz versus longtime nemesis, Urijah Faber.  Each fighter holds a win over the other.

Faber defeated Cruz via submission in little more than a minute and a half at WEC 31 in 2007.  The two then met again when Cruz defended his UFC title at UFC 132 in 2011.

The main event will be UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold defending against former champion Chris Weidman.

UFC 199 will be held June 4 in Los Angeles, California.
