UFC 246’s Sodiq Yusuff breaks down win over Andre Fili and talks about the process to become an American citizen

Life seems to be going pretty well for Sodiq Yusuff lately. The UFC featherweight is coming off of a big win over Andre Fili at UFC 246 that earned him a ranked spot in the featherweight rankings. Now currently ranked 14th, Yusuff has crossed over to contender status and is now ready for the upper echelon at featherweight.

Before UFC 246 though, Sodiq, along with his mother and brother, recently became a citizen of The United States of America. The now former Nigerian completed the long process to becoming an American when he and his family finally took the citizenship test. Months of studying paid off and the Yusuff family have big plans for their family back in Nigeria.
