On Saturday night, June 6, the UFC holds its first-ever pay-per-view event inside the Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The promotions’ fifth event during the COVID-19 pandemic, UFC 250 is headlined by double champion Amanda Nunes, who defends her featherweight strap against Felicia Spencer.
The co-main event is a bantamweight clash between former champion Cody Garbrandt and Raphael Assuncao.
Garbandt, the former UFC bantamweight champion, is coming off three-consecutive TKO losses. He most recently lost by first-round TKO to Pedro Munhoz at UFC 235 in March 2019.
Now splitting time between Team Alpha Male and world-renowned striking coach Mark Henry, Garbrandt looks to make another run at the strap.
Assuncao is on a losing streak of his own, with back-to-back losses to Cory Sandhagen and Marlon Moraes.
The bout was originally scheduled for UFC on ESPN 8 on March 28. It was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
