UFC Fight Night Boston results – Dillashaw vs Cruz

UFC Fight Night 81 or UFC Fight Night Boston was held tonight at the TD Garden, Sunday night in Boston, Massachusetts.

A bantamweight title fight between champion T.J. Dillashaw (12-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC) and former champ Dominick Cruz (20-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) headlined the event. It was an amazing back and forth battle that was close to call.  In the end, Dillashaw would lose via a split decision and Cruz would regain the belt that he never officially lost.

In addition, former lightweight titleholder Anthony Pettis (18-3 MMA, 5-2 UFC) met former Bellator lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez (26-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) in the co-main event.
