UFC Fight Night Prague Results – Blachowicz vs. Santos
UFC Fight Night Prague takes place today in Prague, Czech Republic. The event kicks off at 11 a.m. ET on Saturday from the O2 arena. In the main event, light heavyweights Jan Blachowicz and Thiago Santos met at 205-pounds. Santos enters enemy territory to defeat nearby Poland’s Blachowicz by way of third round TKO.
Two fighters missed weight yesterday and as a result, Klidson Abreu and Diego Ferreira were both fined 20 percent of their fight purses.
UFC heavyweight fighter Stefan Struve came back from an early assault by Marcos Rogerios de Lima to submit the fighter in the second round by way of arm triangle choke. Following the win Struve announced that he is contemplating his retirement from the sport. Still not certain.
Gillian “Savage” Robertson picked up a fantastic submission win over Veronica Macedo in the second round of their scheduled three-round affair.
