UFC Tampa weigh-in results – No ceremonial weigh-ins to be held

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Tampa, Florida this weekend, headlined by a contest between two of the promotion’s top strawweight competitors.

Earlier in the week it was reported that former 115-pound champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk might be having issues cutting down to the strawweight limit.  Jedrzejczyk quickly thwarted those accusations and stated that she still had time.  Today, we will find out if she will be able to prove her doubters wrong when she steps on the scale.

Jedrzejczyk’s opponent, Michelle “The Karate Hottie” Waterson enters the contest with a three-fight streak.  The winner of this bout could soon be in line for a title shot.

The UFC Tampa official weigh-ins are at 9 a.m. ET. There won’t be ceremonial weigh-ins for this event.

UFC Tampa takes place on Saturday, October 12, with the main card beginning a 8pm EST on ESPN+. The card will be held at the Amalie Arena.
