The UFC returns to the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, November 7 with UFC Vegas 13.
The main event features a fight between former light heavyweight title contenders Thiago Santos (21-7) and Glover Teixeira (31-7).
Thiago Santos has not fought since July of 2019 when he suffered a split decision loss to Jon Jones for the light heavyweight title. Santos was severely injured as a result of that contest and required surgery on both of his knees. Now almost a year and a half later, he returns against a very dangerous striker in Glover Teixeira.
Teixeira is coming off a fifth round stoppage of Anthony Smith back in May, bringing his current win streak to four. His last loss came by way of decision to Corey Anderson who now competes in Bellator, most recently getting a win in last night’s Bellator 251 main event.
The weigh-ins take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas beginning at noon ET on Friday. The same venue hosts Saturday’s card, which streams on ESPN+.
