UFC Vegas 25 Fight Card

We have a very exciting event going down this Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, May 1, as we get underway for UFC Vegas 25 (UFC on ESPN 23), headlined by light-heavyweight contenders Dominick Reyes and Jiri Prochazka.

Reyes (No. 3) is coming off back-to-back defeats after opening up his career with a 12-0 record, while Prochazka comes in on an 11-fight win streak. Many believe Reyes should however be a one-time UFC light-heavyweight champion, far more people scored his title shot against Jon Jones for him than Jones.

Prochazka (No. 5) on the other hand is a former two-time Rizin light-heavyweight champion. This is an incredible 205 lb showdown between two top five knockout artists.

Co-headlining the event is also a match up of strikers, as 38-6 professional kickboxer Giga Chikadze takes on one of the most experienced featherweights on the planet, one of the better boxers, and more creative strikers in the division, Cub Swanson.

I became a fan of combat sports when I was 12 years old. I was scrolling through the channels and landed upon Versus, where WEC was televised. Urijah Faber fought Jens Pulver for the second time that night. That's the first fight I ever saw, and I was immediately hooked. So eventually, I began covering the sport in the fourth quarter of 2018, and have since started writing about animals as well.
