Oluwale Bamgbose (6-4) discusses his middleweight fight against Stephen Regman (9-5) at Maverick MMA 19 on May 21. Oluwale also talks about his tenure with the UFC, why he’s been out of the sport for the last five-years and getting the chance to train at AKA ahead of this matchup
“(Daniel Cormier) is awesome, he’s just been a great ambassador of MMA. I told him years ago that I wanted to go to AKA. Five god damn years later, finally I was able to follow up on that request. I was able to link up with Deron Winn, got some rounds in with him and some other guys at AKA. At some point I plan on building better rapport with them.”
