UFC Veteran TJ Laramie looking to bounce back against John De Jesus at Fight Night 17

Interview with TJ Laramie below

TJ Laramie (12-5) discusses his featherweight fight against John De Jesus (15-10) at Fight Night 17 on Jan. 21. TJ also spoke about being released from the UFC, why he hasn’t fought since April 2021 and how opponent de Jesus should get more credit for his record.

“John de Jesus is far better than his record will show. If you look at his losses, it’s against top guys (Aaron Pico, Billy Quarantillo). He’s also got some wins against great guys too. He’s beaten (Vladyslav Parubchenko), John Texieira, it was a kind of a controversial win. Against Kai Kamaka, he dropped him. He’s a good opponent, but he has some obvious weakness in his game.”

Fight card below:

Shane Campbell vs. Cody Jerome – 160 lbs
Strahinga Gavrilovic vs. Mariusz Ksiazkiewicz – 195 lbs
Kyle Prepolec vs. Cameron VanCamp – 155 lbs
Melissa Croden vs. Brittney Cloudy – 135 lbs
T.J. Laramie vs. John De Jesus – 145 lbs
Binaebi Otoru vs. Xi Lau – 125 lbs
Sierra Dinwoodie vs. M. Turcotte-Novosedlik – 135 lbs
