Undefeated Christien Savoie Believes UFC Contract Is Next With CFFC Title Win

Interview with Christien Savoie above – Check it out

Christien Savoie (8-0) discusses his vacant CFFC welterweight title fight against Bassil Hafez (5-2-1) at CFFC 89 on Nov. 19. Christien also talks about how this opportunity came together, nearly fighting on DWCS last year and potentially fighting for the UFC next with a victory.

“(UFC contract) is what I’m being told basically if I win this fight in an impressive fashion. It’s (would be) hard to deny me at this point. Ideally, I’d like a full training camp since I’m a big guy (cutting to 170lbs). The issue with short notice is when I have to come home (in Canada) I have to quarantine for two weeks too. But at the end of the day, if my manager is like ‘Hey man we got a fight for you in 3-4 weeks’ then I’ll do what I got to do.”
