Vanessa Demopoulos says “f*** yes” to being the underdog at UFC Vegas 65
Vanessa Demopoulos has been red hot this year and now she’ll look to carry her momentum into UFC Vegas 65 on Nov. 19.
The year started off with Demopoulos picking up a her first career UFC win when she was able to submit Silvana Gomez Juarez at UFC 270 in January. Following the win, Demopoulos would jump into the arms of Joe Rogan and the celebration would go viral.
A few months later in June, Demopoulos would pick up her second UFC win when she earned a split decision win over Jinh Yu Frey. Once again following the win, Demopoulos would celebrate the same way, but this time it was Michael Bisping whose arms she would jump into.
Now at UFC Vegas 65, Demopoulos will share the octagon Maria Oliveira and just like her first two fights this year, she’ll be the underdog, which is a role she loves to be in.
Demopoulos has no problem silencing the doubters and she believes all of her hard work this year will help her get another win and another post fight celebration, which she hopes the interviewer will be ready for.
Right now Demopoulos is in training camp at Fight Ready in Arizona and she has stated time-and-time again that the gym has been so beneficial to her.
Not only has the gym lead to her recent UFC success, but outside of camp, Demopoulos is also getting great looks as she spends time working out with fellow up and coming prospects Loopy Godinez and Tabatha Ricci.
While Demopoulos is always working on her craft, she’s also been heavily involved with the sport from a new angle. This year Demopoulos accepted a position as a commentator on UFC Fight Pass where she helps with UFC and grappling broadcasts.
