VIDEO: Jeff Monson knocked out in Russia; first fight since claiming citizenship

Jeff Monson (59-25-1) stepped inside the cage yesterday on Christmas Day to compete in his 85th professional mixed martial arts bout.   It was Monson’s first fight as a Russian citizen.  The 44-year old mixed martial artist who has competed previously in the UFC plans to move permanently to Russia in the future, however, yesterday things did not go as planned when Cameroon native Donald Njatah Nua knocked out the ‘Snowman’ in a little over a minute of fighting.
