This week’s workout is called The Bulldog. I was writing workouts for my clients for the week, while watching Cinderella Man (phenomenal boxing movie about James J. Braddock the Bulldog of Bergen), and came up with this mix.

The workout covers all aspects of what is needed for a fight including cardiovascular and strength.

Once you get started, you are going to get tired fast.

Your heart rate will be up from the moment you finish the first exercise.

Once you get to the last part, you will be exhausted… and that’s only the first round.

You will repeat the circuit for a total of 4 rounds.

300 Meters on the rower.

50 Alternating rope slams (50 each).

30 Body weight Bulgarian Split Squats (15 each leg).

30 Kettlebell Side Lunges (10 right side/ 10 left side).

20 Hand Release Pushups.

20 TRX Rows.

400m Run on the treadmill.

Repeat 4 x

Take a 1- 2 minute rest in between each round.
