WSOF 20 results and live prelim stream

WSOF 20 was live tonight, April 10 from the Foxwoods Hotel and Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut and featured the final bout in the semi-finals to crown the inaugural World Series of Fighting light heavyweight champion.

For the second time in two weeks however, a bout in the tournament had changed.  Two weeks ago Teddy Holder stepped up to replace an ill Matt Hamill just hours before his fight against Thiago Silva. Holder ended up winning and now has a chance to earn a title when it wasn’t even an option in the first place.

Yesterday, Ronny Markes dropped out of his bout against David Branch after he became dehydrated and was replaced by Jesse McElligott.  McEglligott had the opportunity of a lifetime, except he was fighting the WSOF middleweight champion in Branch.

Branch dominated the entire first round before submitting McElligott in the second, and it looks like Branch will be the favorite going into the championship fight with Holder.  If he does, he will become the first major two weight class champion (at the same time) in the U.S.

Below are the official WSOF 20 results
