Yoel Romero vs. Melvin Manhoef set for Bellator Paris

Yoel Romero is set to return to the cage at Bellator Paris

Following his fourth consecutive loss, Yoel Romero is hoping to snap his losing skid against Melvin Manhoef on May 6th in Paris. The “Soldier of God,” made his long-awaited Bellator debut back in September of 2021, where he lost to Bellator and UFC veteran Phil Davis via a split decision.

Nearly 8 months later, Romero will return in a co-main event contest against Manhoef, another veteran of the sport is also coming off of a loss after facing Corey Anderson back in November of 2020.

Romero and Manhoef, both in their mid-40’s will face off at 205 lbs in a fight that you won’t want to miss. With both men coming off of a loss and both nearing the ends of their careers it is safe to say that they will leave it all out there to get back in the win column.

The card will also feature a heavyweight title bout as Cheick Kongo challenges Ryan Bader for a second time. Additionally, it will be a chance for Bellator to really highlight some of the European talents on their roster with fights like Soren Bak vs. Saul Rogers and Yves Landu vs. Gavin Hughes also on the card.
