Adrian Yanez vs. Tony Kelley set for June 18th

Two fighters who have yet to make the walk to the octagon in 2022, will meet in June for a three-round bantamweight brawl.

Iridium Sports Agency announced the fight yesterday via Twitter:

Adrian Yanez (15-3-0) entered the UFC by way of the Dana Whites Contender Series back in 2020. Since the showing, he has become a real bantamweight prospect. Undefeated in the UFC, Yanez is riding a 6-fight win streak with a win over Davey Grant in his last outing.

Looking to put a halt to the rise of Yanez will be 35-year-old Tony Kelly. With an 8-2-0 professional record, Kelly has gone 2-1 in the UFC having defeated Randy Costa in his last outing.

The two are set to meet at UFC Fight Night: Katter vs. Emmett, which takes place on June 18th in Austin, Texas.

The card will be headlined by top 10 featherweights Calvin Katter and Josh Emmett. The rebooked matchup of Donald Cerrone vs. Joe Lauzon will also be on the card, as well as Kevin Holland vs. Tim Means.
