Amanda Ribas previews her UFC 257 fight against Marina Rodriguez

Amanda Ribas has faced some changes in her fight camp. Three changes to be exact.

The first came in October when Carla Esparza pulled out of their fight which was scheduled for UFC 256 earlier this month.

After Esparza dropped out, Ribas was then booked to fight Michelle Waterson at UFC 257 leading to the second change of the fight camp. Well earlier this month, Waterson also withdrew from a fight with Ribas.

Now it’s on to opponent number three as fellow Brazilian Marina Rodriguez accepted a fight with Ribas to set up a meeting of two rising strawweight contenders who are both ranked in the top ten of the division.

Prior to their fight, Ribas spoke to MyMMANews about the matchup.

Aside from the fight, she also talked about what it’s been liking to train at American Top Team once again as Ribas trained for her UFC 251 camp in her hometown in Brazil due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
