Hill vs Yoder II

Angela Hill vs Ashley Yoder II short notice addition to UFC Vegas 20

Angela Hill and Ashley Yoder’s rematch transpires in just a few days’ time. The UFC’s next Las Vegas event goes on February 27th and will showcase Hill vs Yoder II.

UFC Fight Night 186 emanates from the UFC Apex and broadcasts on ESPN+.

Angela Hill and Ashley Yoder first fought at The Ultimate Fighter season 25 finale. Hill had her hand raised and won via unanimous decision during their July 2017 contest.

Angela Overkill Hill enters this prizefight on the heels of a pair of split decision defeats. Hill lost a polarizing contest to Claudia Gadelha in May. Then did not get the nod against Michelle Waterson in their September bout.

The Spider Monkey Ashley Yoder recently snapped a two-fight losing kid and resumed her winning ways. Yoder defeated Miranda Granger via unanimous decision at a UFC Fight Night in November to get back into the win column.

Prior to these recent setbacks, Hill had been on a three-fight win streak. This saw her accumulate victories over Ariane Carnelossi, Hannah Cifers, and Loma Lookboonmee.

The former Invicta FC strawweight champion looks to go 2-0 over Yoder as Hill aims to redirect her path towards championship glory at the UFC level.

Yoder was a competitor on The Ultimate Fighter season 23. But has also showcased her skills with BAMMA, Gladiator Challenge, and Invicta FC.

Ashley Yoder has gone 3-5 across her last eight bouts and aside from the aforementioned Granger win, she also has victories over Amanda Cooper and Syuri Kondo.

Overkill was initially lined up for a different rematch but a positive COVID-19 test for Hill put the kibosh on that. This prizefight marks the first MMA bout of the calendar year for both pugilists.

A heavyweight collision between Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Ciryl Gane tops the marquee for this UFC Vegas 20 card.
