Anna Crutchfield Prepares for WAKO Team USA Kickboxing

Upstate Karate fighter, Anna Crutchfield prepares for WAKO nationals and worlds, as she’s competing for a spot-on Team USA. The Ray Thompson fighter has accumulated over 60 fights in her amateur career between kickboxing, boxing and MMA. With only three weight classes in the female divisions, Crutchfield is battling for the 132-pound weight class spot.

On the Carroll’s Corner MMA Podcast, Crutchfield speaks about training at Upstate Karate under Ray Thompson, father of UFC welterweight star, Stephen Thompson, and alongside many talented fighters including Thompson, Chris Weidman, and many more.

We also talked about how she was introduced to combat sports, what the future holds for her, her goals and inspirations, and much more. Crutchfield also mentions how branding is something new to her and she’s looking for sponsors.
