Anthony Romero talks about his 58-second win and a potential UFC call up

Highly touted Canadian prospect Anthony Romero is coming off of a quick TKO win at Ohio Combat League. The win saw him become lightweight champion.

Romero isn’t tied to OCL and could very well find himself fighting for a big organization in the near future. The UFC has been sniffing around for some time and a summer shot in the Contender Series isn’t unrealistic.

The Canadian admits a chance in the UFC is his career goal and having an undefeated record with finishes is a great way to achieve that. Even though all of this comes with a lot of pressure.

In the interview Anthony Romero talks about his Salvadorien roots, whether he was prepared to fight at UFC London, staying inside and much more.
