Battlegrounds MMA 5: Carneiro wins One Night Elimination Welterweight Tourney

Battlegrounds MMA held their fifth event last night, labeling it O.N.E. or One Night Elimination Tournament.  The event was reminiscent of the old UFC or Pride Fighting Championship Tournament days and was commentated by Chael Sonnen and the legendary Jim Ross of the WWE.

The tournament was available for purchase on pay-per-view and in the end one fighter would win $50,000 for winning the welterweight tournament.

Roan Carneiro survived the odds to beat Brock Larson in the final matchup of the night.  Full results below.
