Bellator London: Soren Bak Post Fight Media Scrum

What many thought would  have been a back and forth contest, this was definitely not the case.

Soren Bak displayed his wrestling abilities, dominating Terry Brazier on the ground for all three rounds at Bellator London. Bak was relentless with his takedowns which Brazier found near on impossible to stuff. Although not much damage whatsoever was delivered by Bak, he still came out on top winning the bout comfortably winning by way of unanimous decision.

The last time we saw Bak was back in March where he competed on the popular UK MMA organisation Cage Warriors where he won the interim featherweight title. Now, with this being his Bellator debut, he couldn’t be happier with the start of his journey within the organisation, especially with a win over someone as tough as Terry Brazier.

During an interview in the lead up to this fight, Bak mentioned how this fight would be strength versus technique, when questioned about this he replied, “I think that is pretty spot on, I didn’t anticipate he would be strong all the way through.”

At the end of the bout, Bak was delivering his post fight interview in the cage with Josh Thomspon when Brazier took the microphone and shouted, “Boring fight!”. As you can imagine, I asked Bak what his thoughts are on this and he basically replied that if Brazier needs some wrestling training then give him a call.
