EXCLUSIVE: Boston Salmon vs Khalid Taha rescheduled for April 13
Boston Salmon vs Khalid Taha was first scheduled for November 30, 2018 but unfortunately, Taha had to pull out due to a torn ACL. Sources close to MyMMANews tell us that this bout will get a second chance on April 13, 2019. A location is still yet to be announced.
Salmon won a UFC contract on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series on the first season in 2017. After winning the contract he was scheduled to fight Augusto Mendes in Brazil in October of 2017. Mendes eventually pulled out and Salmon was then set to fight Raoni Barcelos. Disaster struck and Salmon suffered a knee injury and underwent surgery. Maybe a third time is a charm.
Taha is a former competitor for Brave CF and RIZIN Federation, also having been a champion on the German scene. Taha made his debut on July 22 of 2017 for UFC Fight Night 134. He debuted against Nad Narimani and lost a one-sided unanimous decision.
These two will look to get there first win inside the UFC octagon. Taha looking to bounce back with and win as Salmon is looking to take his win streak to two.
