Brendan Allen

Brendan Allen Returns to the Octagon in June against Jacob Malkoun

UFC 275 will take place in Singapore at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on June 11th, 2022.

Despite not having many fights thus far on the card, it is already shaping up to be a great pay-per-view with the addition of young and hungry middleweights Brendan Allen and Jacob Malkoun.

Allen (18-5-0) will be moving back down to his preferred division of middleweight. He moved up to face Sam Alvey at light heavyweight on short notice last month. Following a masterclass performance against Alvey, he ultimately got the job done via submission in the second round.

Allen has gone 5-3 in the UFCs middleweight division since making his way to the promotion from Dana White’s Contender Series. He holds solid wins over the likes of Kevin Holland, Tom Breese, Kyle Daukaus, and Punahele Soriano.

Come June, the 26-year-old will meet fellow 26-year-old Jacob Malkoun.

Malkoun (6-1-0), though with quite a bit less experience than Allen has proved to be an extremely well-rounded competitor. In his last two outings, he defeated Abdul Razak Alhassan and handed AJ Dobson his first loss.

The Australian will be looking to increase his streak from two consecutive wins to three as he meets Allen at UFC 275

The card, despite having only five announced bouts, is shaping up to be one hell of a night of fights.

The event is to be headlined by Glover Teixeira vs. Jiri Prochazka in a light heavyweight title bout. Valentina Shevchenko will also defend her strawweight strap against Taila Santos.

Robert Whittaker vs. Marvin Vettori will also be on the card in what may be a middleweight title eliminator bout.

UFC 275 fight card:

Glover Teixeira vs. Jiří Procházka – 205 lbs
Valentina Shevchenko vs. Taila Santos – 125 lbs
Robert Whittaker vs. Marvin Vettori – 185 lbs
S. Juárez vs. Na Liang – 115 lbs
Brendan Allen vs. Jacob Malkoun – 185 lbs
