Josh Hill vs. Enrique Barzola added to Bellator 278

Top bantamweights square off at Bellator’s return to Hawaii.

The double-header events will see Bellator 278 and 279 on back-to-back nights in April.

Added to the first night of fights, Bellator 278, will be number 8 ranked Josh Hill taking on UFC vet Enrique Barzola.

Josh Hill (21-4-0) has gone 5-1 in his last six bouts. In his Bellator debut, he defeated Vinicius Zani. Most recently he stopped Jared Scoggins in his tracks with a vicious overhand right.

Enrique Barzola (17-5-2) spent five years under the UFC banner and defeated the likes of Brandon Davis, Matt Bessette, and Bobby Moffett during that time. After making his way to Bellator, he defeated former bantamweight champion, Darrion Caldwell, via ground and pound.

For Barzola, this is his chance to break into the top ten of the division. A victory over “the Gentlemen” would put him on a fast track towards title contention.

Bellator 278 takes place on April 22nd in Honolulu, Hawaii, and will be headlined by flyweight champion Juliana Velasquez and number 2 ranked Liz Carmouche.
