Brendan Allen reveals he’s fighting Krzysztof Jotko in October

Brendan Allen has his next fight booked.

Allen revealed to James Lynch of Sportskeeda on the Hall of Fame red carpet that he signed his new fight and he broke the news to the MMA reporter. According to Allen, he is set to fight Krzysztof Jotko on October 1 on a Fight Night event at a location TBD.

“Should I break it? I just signed the contract, we just signed the contract today. So, Jotko, October 1st,” Allen said.

Brendan Allen (19-5) is coming off a decision win over Jacob Malkoun back at UFC 275 to extend his win streak to two after submitting Sam Alvey back in February. In the UFC, Allen is 7-2 with his two losses coming by knockout as he was finished by Chris Curtis last December and Sean Strickland in November of 2020.

The American earned his way into the UFC by submitting Aaron Jeffery on the Contender Series. Krzysztof Jotko (24-5) is also on a two-fight win streak and is coming off back-to-back decision wins over Gerald Meerschaert and Misha Cirkunov. His last loss was a decision loss to Sean Strickland, while the loss snapped his three-fight win streak which happened after a three-fight losing streak. Jotko has been in the UFC since 2013 and holds a record of 10-5 with notable wins over Marc-Andre Barriault, and Thales Leites while on the three-fight losing skid he lost to David Branch, Uriah Hall, and Brad Tavares.
