Chris Curtis returns against Rodolfo Vieira in June

“The Action Man” Chris Curtis will return to the octagon on June 25th as he takes on Rodolfo Vieira in a three-round middleweight showing.

Curtis (28-8-0) will walk into the octagon with a string of seven straight victories. The former Z Promotions Fight Night welterweight champion has defeated the likes of Darren Smith Jr., Jarome Hatch, and Phil Hawes over the last few years.

His most recent walk to the octagon came in December of 2021, where he stopped Brendan Allen by way of a TKO in the second round.

His opponent, Vieira, holds a professional record of 8-1-0. Since signing with the UFC, Vieira has gone 1-1. In his debut, he was defeated by Anthony Hernandez, but most recently he defeated Dustin Stoltzus via rear-naked-choke.

The bout offers fans a very interesting look at differing styles as the fight will be a classic ‘Jiu-Jitsu vs. striker’ matchup.

Curtis, a heavy-handed striker, holds 14 knockouts on his record while his opponent, Vieira, has won nearly all of his victories by way of submission (7/8).

Stylistically, this fight will be extremely fun and it is something you will not want to miss.

As of now, the June 24th UFC Fight Night card is as follows:

Tim Elliott vs. Amir Albazi – 125 lbs

Chris Curtis vs. Rodolfo Vieira – 185 lbs

Jinh Yu Frey vs. Vanessa Demopoulos – 115 lbs

Josh Parisian vs. Alan Baudot – 265 lbs

Tagir Ulanbekov vs. Tyson Nam – 125 lbs
