A pair of long-time veterans will meet at UFC’s June 20 event.
Lightweights Clay Guida and Bobby Green are the latest addition to the card. Guida first announced the matchup on his Instagram page.
The two were previously slated to fight at UFC 225 in June 2018, but Green withdrew after suffering an injury. Charles Oliveira replaced Green and tapped out Guida in the opening round.
Guida is 3-2 since moving back up to the UFC lightweight division in June 2017. He most recently lost by a first-round guillotine choke to Jim Miller at UFC on ESPN 5 in August 2019.
He came into the bout fresh off a unanimous-decision win over B.J. Penn at UFC 237 in May 2019.
Green won just one out of his last six bouts since November 2014. He is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Francicso Trinaldo at UFC on ESPN+ 22 in November 2019.
The event is scheduled to take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The card will stream live on ESPN+.
