Interview with Dylan Harnish above

Art of War Cage Fighting is smashing their way into the spotlight of Pennsylvania MMA with stacked fight cards on back-to-back nights.  AOW President, Mike Bickings deems this All-Star Weekend on April 1st and 2nd and is their 22nd and 23rd shows.  This will be the second time they have hosted consecutive shows on consecutive days as back in February of 2019, AOW 10 and 11 took place.

The All-Star Weekend will be hosted at the hottest spot in Philly…Live Casino and Hotel, who just recently celebrated their first-year anniversary and will welcome their first mixed martial arts events to their patrons.  Bickings, and matchmaker Jillian Peterson have worked feverishly and put together some amazing fights.  On the first night, April 1st, heavyweight Patrick “the Brick” Brady will stroll to the cage and take on Cesar Guiterrez in the main event.

Tim Sylvester vs Shawn Steffanelli and Jim Fitzpatrick vs Will Dill also headline the professional portion of the card on the first night.

On Saturday night, AOW 23 will crown three new champions in their amateur division.  Christopher Bobe and Dylan Harnish will go head-to-head in the featherweight division to see who wears the title belt as they leave the cage.  This is my choice for fight of the night, as Bobe is relentless, has a great chin, and has been in several bell-to-bell brawls.  Harnish is a crafty southpaw who is confident and has big dreams about his future in the sport.

With fight week here, I checked in with Harnish to gauge his level of anticipation for this title opportunity.  He tells MyMMANews…

“I can’t wait.  I know Bobe is coming off of a couple losses, but that is not representative of his talent.  I want the best Christopher Bobe possible to come into that cage because I want to be tested.  I believe he won’t want to stand with me very long and will look for a take-down and I’ve been working every area of my game so I’m prepared for wherever it may go.”

You can check out our interview on the link above.

Harnish and Bobe have crossed paths before when Harnish was staying in Philadelphia.  He remembers rollling and sparring a few times with him and is confident that he will have his arm raised at the end of the fight.

You can get round by round results right here, or order the fight card on the Starfund app.
