ESPN Africa Boxing 13 Puts On An Impressive Display Of Boxing

ESPN Africa Boxing is officially back! The return of the Africa Boxing series drew a huge number of fight fans from around the Johannesburg area (and beyond) and put on a six-fight card fit for the occasion. There was a major change in the main event a few days prior but the event went off without a hitch.

The event served as an introduction to what African boxing has to offer. Although no championships were on the line at this event, it’s clear that, as the year progresses, more and more championship contender-worthy fighters will be highlighted. Two of the six bouts had decisive finishes whilst the other four went to the judges’ scorecards for a decision. The event was exciting and entertaining and served as the perfect start to the move to get African boxing back to its feet.
