GLORY 72 – Kickboxing Results from Chicago

GLORY 72 on UFC Fight Pass

Day two of GLORY in Chicago is upon us. Last night’s title fight between Anissa Meksen and Tiffany Van Soest delivered with a unanimous decision victory for Van Soest. In tonight’s fight card, we see a lot of familiar faces from the GLORY roster. The main event, a highly anticipated rematch for the featherweight title between Petchpanonrung Kiatmookao and Kevin VanNostrand will bring a lot of excitement for the WinTrust Arena.

Petch, the Professor, won the last fight between these two in a unanimous decision last July at GLORY 55. While both fighters know what to expect from each other, Petch has the better overall record (10-1-0) in GLORY. But this fight has huge potential for VanNostrand (7-3) with knockout power and facing similar opponents as Petch.

While Petch has more wins, both he and VanNostrand hold a loss to Robin Van Roosmalen. With the featherweight title on the line, expect to see a lot of action from these two fighters.

The co-main event features GLORY #9 ranked light heavyweight Chris Camozzi facing Ryot Waller. A win for Camozzi would mean a step up in competition. To road won’t get any easier for Camozzi moving forward, with all fighters ranked ahead of him having significantly more experience.

GLORY 72 will wrap up at the WinTrust Arena tonight in Chicago, Ill. with the prelims starting at 6:00 PM CT.

King’s knockout is the fastest in GLORY history. Ten seconds!
