Heavyweight’s Justin Tafa, Jake Collier Added to April 30th UFC Fight Night
UFC’s Fight Night on April 30th officially has a heavyweight banger as Justin Tafa will take on Jake Collier in a three-round bout.
Tafa, who joined the UFC in 2019, has gone 2-3 in the UFC and holds a professional record of 5-3-0. After a rocky debut bout, Tafa defeated Juan Adams at UFC 247. In his most recent bout, he broke a two-fight skid and bounced back into the win column with a head kick KO of Harry Hunsucker.

With all of Tafa’s victories coming by way of stoppage, it’s easy to assume he is going to be looking for Collier’s chin from the start. However, that will be no easy task.
Collier is an extremely well-rounded heavyweight. Going 5-5 in the UFC, professionally he holds a 13-6-0 record. While being with the UFC Collier has formed a pattern of win-one lose-one throughout all ten of his UFC bouts.
Coming off of a submission win over Chase Sherman at UFC Fight Night: Katter vs. Chikadze, Collier will be looking to snap that win-lose pattern and win consecutive bouts.
The April 30th Fight Night card as of now has ten bouts with notable matchups such as:
Women’s Flyweight: Antonina Shevchenko vs. Cortney Casey
Lightweight: Jarad Gordon vs. Rafael Alves
Featherweight: Tristan Connelly vs. Derren Elkins
Though the time has yet to be determined, the Fight Night will be streamed on ESPN+.
