Exclusive: Tristan Connelly On Undergoing 2nd Neck Surgery, Aiming For Spring 2022 Return

Interview with Tristan Connelly above

Tristan Connelly (14-6) talks about withdrawing from the Makwan Amirkhani and undergoing surgery later today in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Tristan also talks about how the injury occurred, UFC feedback from withdrawing from the matchup, and how he’s hoping to return next year.

“Rest for a month, after 30 days and then I can be working out. Six months I should be able to step into the cage. Last time it was like seven months, it was because of timing on the UFC. I’m looking to be good to go in the six to nine-month range. Probably the Spring.”
