Holly Holm Injured, Forced Off UFC 181 Fight Card

Undefeated mixed martial artist and former boxing champion, Holly Holm, was set to make her UFC debut on Dec. 6 against Raquel Pennington.

Holm (7-0) captured the Legacy FC women’s bantamweight championship by knocking out Juliana Werner in April of this year, breaking her arm in the process.   She has been on the shelf ever since.

The Jackson-Winkeljohn trained fighter finally inked a five-fight deal with the UFC on July 10.

She was set to debut against Pennington at UFC 181 but due to an undisclosed injury Holm has been forced off the card.  No replacement has been named.
